PERANCANGAN ALAT SIMULASI SISTEM ALARM PADA SYRINGE PUMP DENGAN BLUETOOTH
Abstract
Syring pump is a medical device whose function is to provide liquid medicine into the patient& 39;s body in a certain amount and at a certain time with a high level of accuracy. Administration of nutrition or drug fluids must be carried out appropriately according to patient needs and requires good supervision. The use of Bluetooth as an alarm notification on the Syringe Pump tool serves to facilitate monitoring of drug administration to patients. The design of the alarm on the syringe pump device with Bluetooth as a notification has been successfully designed using Bluetooth type HC 04e which is supported by android application software. The types of alarm variables that have been designed and tested are Alarm No Syringe, Alarm Occlusion and Alarm Nearly Empty. The test results show that the No Syringe Alarm occurs when the selected syringe size selection does not match the installed syringe. The information display on the smartphone indicates the No Syringe alarm status will sound and there is an additional message "Make sure the syringe is installed properly and correctly". The occlusion alarm occurs when the occlusion detector shows ON and the information display on the smartphone shows the Occlusion status, the alarm sounds and there is an additional message "Check hose flow". Nearly Empty alarm occurs when the liquid in the syringe is nearing the end. In a 10 ml syringe,
nearly empty occurs when the discharge out is 8 ml and the remaining fluid in the tube is 2 ml. In a 20 ml syringe, nearly empty occurs when the discharge out is 18
