Abstract

Vital signs examination is an examination activity carried out by medical personnel which aims to determine disorders, disorders or changes in organ systems and the patient's health. The inspection process is generally carried out manually, thus allowing for human error. Therefore, a vital signs tool was created with a digital system that can reduce errors in reading paraeters, especially NIBP, making it easier for health workers to work more quickly, helping the data reading process, and reducing patient identification errors. This vital sign design utilizes a pressure sensor for large blood pressure (NIBP) readings. Data processing uses an Arduino UNO microcontroller with a memory capacity greater than other Arduino boards so that it can carry out real-time monitoring, while the visual output uses a Big Font LCD. The test method is carried out by comparing the reading results on the writer's tool with a calibrator tool in the form of a vital signs simulator. The NIBP parameter test results have an average error value. The test results have a difference value that is not too significant, different from the tolerance limit of so that the level of measurement error factor is smaller and makes the quality of data collection better.
