Abstract

The Hyperthermia System with temperature control has been designed using a microcontroller. The Hyperthermia System is a life support tool that functions to maintain the patient's temperature to remain normal by flowing water into the blanket in the form of cold water as needed. The temperature of the water is detected by the DSB1820 sensor which is inserted into the chamber and then transfers the data which will be displayed on the display. The research then used a digital thermometer to compare the temperature with the Hyperthermia System. When the set temperature has been reached, the LED indicator will light up. And if the temperature detected by the skin sensor reaches 38°C, cold water will be circulated into the blanket automatically. The overall result is that the percentage of temperature accuracy in the chamber is 99.6% and the accuracy level in the skin sensor is 99.4%
